 | SIVA International's objective is to facilitate the internationalisation of Norwegian companies, particularly with respect to lowering the threshold for establishing small and medium sized enterprises abroad. Achieving this requires improving predictability, reducing risk and reinforcing long-term investment perspectives.
SIVA has been engaged in international activities since 1996 and has established 4 industrial parks abroad, one in Russia in Murmansk, one in Ogre, Latvia and two in Panevezys, Lithuania. Ownership of industrial parks in Baltic states is organised in a separate company SIVA Baltic Holding AS that is operated by SIVATECH AS. SIVA’s wholly-owned subsidiary company SIVATECH AS is responsible for SIVA's international activities.
SIVA has also cooperated with its business partner Research Institute SINTEF in the establishment of BIT Center in Tuzla, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
